Evolution the false theory?

Mostly likely early bacterium used chemosynthesis or the break down of chemicals such as sulfur (bacteria that live in thermal vents still do so today.) Its unlikely they would have used light do to the fact that UV radiation would have been very high in the early stages of life during that period in Earth's history. Would they start eating each other? Well sure at a point of divergence when the bacteria would start to separate into different species.
