A relationship is a set up for rejection?

As much as I find some of your views ist, ultimately the answer to your question could be seen as "yes". Couples will either break up or get married, most will break up. Relationships to some people give them experience but to me I would say they are a waste of time and I too have the best times with my family and friends. I certainly don't believe in trying to make something work or waiting for love to happen because if it's not there then it's not there. I guess some people are happier in relationships and being part of a couple, if that's what makes them happy then great. Personally I love being single and having the freedom to do what I want when I want. I guess it's a case of each to their own.
