Society: Why does everyone criticize today's younger generation?

I'm 18 not really apart of this generation but I am, If you understand what I'm saying. I won't say this generation is all cool but what's the deal with everyone bugging on this generation. As if the teens of the 90's and 80's were any better? What's the difference? The 90's had their share of problems just like today. LA riots, Rodney King, Crack epidemic, OJ Simpson lame a*s, Columbine shooting, and East coast west coast beef. Also, What's the deal with the older generation talking teens getting pregnant as if that's something new to the world being though most of our parents had us when they were teens. Why is their so much hate on this generation for things that been going since the beginning of time?
