What are your thoughts on recent events in Venezuela?

People in Venezuela knew from the get go, that Chavez wanted a socialist nation. And their "Congres" hands over just about complete power to him. Venezuelans got themselves into this mess, maybe they should get themselves out! (I dont mean come to the US!!)
