Is Verbal Abusive just as bad as Physical Abuse?

All abuse is harmful, and all of it causes pain. verbal abuse affects a person's self esteem just as physical or mental abuse does. The one big difference is that physical abuse causes visible scars and even death, whereas verbal abuse causes scars on the inside and often leads to a person's death by suicide. If one is feeling uncomfortable by something someone says, get away from that person/s. The Bible even says the tongue is a mighty sword. Abuse has no nice picture to it, so know that no one was put on this earth to receive pain from anywhere.
