I accept that they vary in degree - from the uninformed to the excessively tribalistic. There are many - some overtly so, and some who covertly attempt to disguise their own attitudes by asking questions they know will provoke biggoted answers from others. When I first joined YA, I would have said that they should be reported and banned; but now I'm less certain that such censorship is the right way. Perhaps we should just let them reveal themselves - then challenge their beliefs and attitudes through rational and informed arguement. It's hard to say how accurately YA represents a cross-section of attitudes in the British population. If it does, then by allowing it to expose itself at least we get to see the size of the problem. I am not sure from your question whether you are trying to remove all the hyperlinks altogether or want them showing as hyperlinks. If you want to remove, and have as normal text, then the quickest method is to use CtrlA to highlight all text and click on the Normal Style icon, or use format painter to copy the style. There is no way of easily seeing all hyperlinks at a glance unless they are entered as a field or style and then would appear if you use Doent Map view.

USB Problem With Printing, etc.?

I use my 4 usb ports for the usual things; printer, pc card, etc. Why is it that I must use certain ports for certain devices? I use 2 different printers, however, only 1 port works for printing. Likewise only one port recognizes my pc card (its not the same one which recognizes my printers). I have unused usb ports, but they won't run either of the printers. Please help!

I'm in London, I'm going to be using the DLR to travel to Heron Quays, and then the tube from there to the West End. Then I will be going to a bar somewhere else which will require using tube and DLR again. And then I'll be using DLR once again to get home. This is my first "real" Christmas, so I don't know exactly what that is supposed to smell like, so I started baking last night. Just wanted to say they are the same companys that send you these. I have both of them. However the bad thing about them, you can't call the number and find out what your balance is or limits, etc. You have to not push any #s in order to get a live rep to talk to. Help!! cancer diagnosis question?

I found out by accident yesterday that my mum aged 50, could possibly have cancer. before Christmas my mum presumed she had mastitis and went to see her local GP, he agreed that he also thought it was mastitis and prescribed antibiotics. After completing the course my mum realised that her nodes in her neck were swollen so went back to the GP who yet again prescribed another course of antibiotics...yet again this didn't work and my mum realised that this was something more than mastitis as did the doctor. Her GP then sent her last week to the hospital for tests ( not sure what but I'm presuming a biopsy & blood tests etc )...anyway the upshot is, she's been told to return on Thursday of next week and to bring someone with her...Please if you've been through this sort of thing could you explain why she needs someone there with her for the results...maybe my mind is running on overdrive, I'm not even supposed to know about this, my dad told me by accident because my mum doesn't want to worry me until necessary so for now I have to act normally for her sake. I'm 37 so not a child and would just like a heads up on what to expect as I'm guessing that the hospital asking her to have someone with her for the results means it's not likely to be good news...thanks in anticipation of replies x

Coaching System. Warriors Coach Don Nelson focuses on offense. He don't really focus on defense therefore makes Ellis not a good defender. Don't get me wrong, he can play D, just not that well. In the Celtics coaching system, Doc Rivers mainly focuses his team to play defense all the time. That is why Boston won the championship last year and the Warriors were close and didn't make the playoffs. I use Windows, but own a Mac to tinker around with. The operating system is very easy to use and figure out. I believe all of the new Macs are capable of running bootcamp. In that case, I'd suggest you get the Mac since you would always have a seperate Windows installation to fall back on in case a situation arises in which you need to use it.

We think my little brother MAY have dyslexia?

There's four of us. My sister, 23, my older brother, 17, me, 13 and my little brother who recently turned 7. We have all been really shy growing up, but my little brother is especially shy. Teachers even told our mum that there worried about him. So, when my mum went to parents evening teachers told her he was extremely behind. He has already, once been tested for dyslexia but doctors said he was fine. A year then ped and he is now nearly going into primary school. Teachers have started getting worried about him again though, he isn't a trouble maker and really does try in school. He can't concentrate very well though, he gets bored and will move on to something else. Its quite weird though, his grandfather will tell him all these wonderful things, about countries, spaceships, planes and weeks will go by and he still remembers these things, but then at school, he can't even remember full stops, capital letters, he can't even read his own writing. He already attends sessions with teachers, with three over pupils from his cl that are very very shy like him. At first, we all did actually think his shyness was to fault, and that's why he doesn't really know these different things, but yesterday i was talking to him and i asked him where all the different things go in sentences, he knows where and what there for he just can't do it. In his cl, they've been doing full stops and capital letters for almost 6months now and he still can't do them. My mother said to me, i actually felt like crying when i saw his work, how different it was to the other kids, she thinks she's to blame. I just remembered too, when the cl do there weekly spelling test, he's always getting 7, 8, 9 out of 10, so why do they keep saying they think he has dyslexia? Do you think we should get him tested again? or is he just a slow learner? thankyou in advance! xx

I am so sick of being miserable and depressed.?

My sisters all think I'm a loser and this upsets me greatly because I have this awful need to always please and be liked. A totally disfunctional family with little love and perpetual divorce, I, the youngest, didn't hang around home and get married like they did. I left for the left coast as soon as I could and basically didn't look back. I just wanted something different. Only one to ever go to college and travel, I never married and have always taken care of myself. 19 years ago I consider buying property in my home town should my apt. drop off into the ocean and Mom confesses then that she would like to be done with her mortgage. So she and I decide that I take over the house. I pay off her loan and give her remainder in cash for full price taking out a mortgage. I also agree that she continue to live there free of rent and keep the rent from the other side (duplex) as well. I did this because I knew my Mom would take care of the property and that if I ever needed to, I would have a place to go to and my Mom wouldn't have to worry anymore. No sister says anything to me about this transaction at the time, and of course none of them obviously ever offered to do this. One sister 5 hours away (came home once a month to take Mom shopping), one 12 hours away (visited every 5 years or so, sent occasional gifts, and one next door who chose to quit working 10 years ago to care for parents in exchange for monetary compensaton. Now 18 years later, Mom is in a nursing home. So now I'm being summoned back home to help. I point out that I've been helping. Not enough apparently. I must go home and clean out the house. Can't someone else do that? No, apparently. It's my house! So, sister on other side who paid her rent to Mom now suddenly is unable to pay her rent. Tells me she can't afford it. Lives there 6 more months until sold. Wants me to sell the house-has found a buyer even. So I sell-take $15000 loss off original price. Never go back to help clean out house so now I'm mud. Sister complains to me how hard it was to clean out the house-took her 3 months. Of course I couldn't point out that she was compensated for that by her free rent for 6 months. So I ask if she asked sister in Georgia to come up to help? Yes, she did ask. Sister in Georgia declined to help apparently because it ISN'T HER HOUSE! Sister 5 hours away agrees that it's my responsibility. When I point out that I've been contributing, sister 5 hours away finally blurts out "Why would you make such a stupid arrangement with Mom.?" That's when I threw my cell phone across the room. Today's her birthday and I've tried for the past week to find a card to send to her. In the end I couldn't do it. I knew it would not bring a smile to her face but rather probably more disgust for me. So here I sit, miserable and depressed, eyeing the Bridge and feeling like a total loser. And for what? What did I do that was so wrong?

I do not think a new ipod is coming out anytime soon. Usually Apple releases new ipods in september. So I would say check back around september. The Ipod Touch 2nd generation had just come out so I doubt a new touch will be here soon. They may release a new firmware though, that will update the ipod to be able to do more things and fix bugs. These moderators, the men or women asking the questions in these 2008 debates from both sides, are they out of line? What I mean is they show such a lack of respect to potential candidates that it just makes me so angry. They laugh at answers they do not agree with and scoff at times, this is just ridiculous if you ask me. Chris Matthews has to be the worst in my honest opinion but the man that moderated the abc debates for New Hampshire debates was just as bad. When they do these things they show that they either agree or disagree with a candidate. I say they are out of line. They should ask the question and keep thier opinions to themselves period. What should I do to eliminate pain in my foots arch?

So i Usually run here and there but not too often. Well after the holidays I decided to start running more often. I went running each night for like 4 nights straight when i stopped because my left foot's arch hurt really bad. I'm pretty sure the reason for this is because i have concave arches (thats what a doctor told me) basically deep arches and i have been running wearing puma suedes (not ment for running in the elast). Any how its been like 4 days now and the arch hurts each time i step on it, not intense or anytthing but really annoying. I relaxed and didn't run for the 4 days and it still hurts . How can i get this pain to go away. Please note i have also bought running shoes.

FINALLY. Now he is not paying child support. He works for a family owned business and they are helping him avoid wage garnishment. All I want is him to be gone. I want all technical rights and I will gladly not receive the child support I never get anyways. How can I do this? The judges seem to constantly hand out chances and I am scared to go back to court to start another round of visitations again and keep going thru this. What actions can I take to take his rights away permanently

So, how do I know, if these recently laid eggs are fertile or infertile? Are fertile eggs typically white, when first laid, or do they turn white, after awhile? I have tried the "shine the light" method, on a few of the eggs, and have seen no tale-tale signs, {i.e. no object and no veins). So, could you please tell me, how do I really know, if they are fertile or infertile? Serious ques. about (my) cat and liquid diarreha? ?

My cat (will be 3 in Dec.) has had serious diarreha for about 3 weeks now. YES I have brought him to the vet. (twice) and the only thing they can come up with is "possible food allergy", but are unsure. They put him on two diff. meds and so far the diarreha hasn't gotten any better. It's pretty much liquid right now. I have to keep him in a seperate bedroom (spare) so he doesn't track the poo all over the carpet in the house. I feel so bad! Anyways, are there ANY ideas on what this could be? The vet says its not feline lukemia, nor any worm or parasite. Is there something out there that can help HARDEN his poop? It was definitely a success. Singapore has signed a 5 years contract with Formula 1 and I hope that each year, it can get better and better. Even though most of the drivers complained that the circuit was the most challenging and most difficult to overtake than compared to any of the race circuit that they have driven, it was quite thrilling though because everyone was standing throughout the race instead of sitting down.Singapore has made the Formula 1 such a success and they have only done it in 1 year (they have to put up many wired fences, built the concrete barriers to ensure the safety of the drivers and the spectators etc) and that was a fantastic and wonderful job. I just hope that next year, I would be able to be part of the excitement.

Vivid Dreams Leaving me Tired and Achey?

Most nights I have vivid dreams for what seems like the entire night. Sometimes they are cyclical - meaning I will dream about an unsolved problem or idea over and over again; or sometimes they are just very long storylines. They leave me tired and drained in the morning and I think they affect me in other ways since I began having symptoms of fibromyalgia in correlation with this dreaming. Is there a sleep disorder related to my overactive dreaming? Am I not getting restorative sleep because of this? I've read something about brains that function like they're awake when a person is sleeping - could this be causing my exhaustion and fibromyalgic symptoms? I often dream while I'm half-awake/falling asleep and sometimes react bodily to my dreams (moving feet or jerking). I feel achey and stiff when I wake up and have difficulty concentrating during the day. Should I get a sleep test?

My foot phobia started at a young age and I really am scarred for life. My older sister used to take her dirty feet and put them all over me and then to torture me even further she would tell me to take my nails and scrap the dirt off...ewwwww, then my Mom would have me cut her toenails and to top it all off- in my religion we would have a service once a month were we would have to wash each others feet just as Mary did for Jesus. Ugggh, you can't imagine the smells, bunions,hammertoes, corns and all sorts of lovely things I got to experience with that. It's sooo bad that I will not let anyone put their feet on my bed without putting a towel down first, I use a different towel to dry my feet when I get out of the shower. I used to make my ex wash his feet and put on a pair of clean socks before he could get in bed with me, I even bought extra socks and kept them in my room just in case he forgot to bring a pair. I will not touch kids feet once they start walking, I don't even wash my nieces and nephews feet when I give them a bath, I let them do it. I keep baby wipes by my bed so I can wipe my feet before I PUT them on the bed especially if they touched the floor. I KNOW I'M CRAZZZZZZYYYYYY!!!!!

Last year I travelled via bangkok with a 1-hour transit time, and it was comfortably managed. But as a transit penger in a connecting flight, I just walked into the departure through the transit, and it took about about 20-30 minutes to walk to the departure from the arrival. In your case, if you're booking the second flight separately, and you'll have to complete all customs before checking in again, it might take pretty longer, though I really don't have any experience of doing that. In that case a little longer transit time would be preferable. (BTW, does arrival time mean the time your plane touches the ground??)

Kitten with Discharge From One Eye?

She's a small stray kitten, and its mother feeds them bugs and mice, (and all in my backyard, ewww poor things). Well they are covered in dirt and fleas and are underfed. I heard original dish dawn Blue paralyzes the fleas. But one of the kittens eyes is swollen, and its oozing mucus, and it is so sad and disgusting and I used warm water, but the eye was swollen and checked and the eye is crusted over again. hair dye would be better than bleach.bleach should only be in for about 10 to 15 mins and the pink highlights would take about 20 to 30 mins. but if you want to have darker pink highlights then leave it in longer. if i was you i would get my hair done with the blonde and come back in two or three days for the pink highlights cause that is a lot to be done on your hair and it could fall out if it is not done rite.

Afraid that I may have Borderline Personality?

Okay so I have had issues off and on with anxiety for years and was always a nervous child.It didn't really affect my childhood friendships or schoolwork. I guess you could say that my parents were verbally abusive over a few year period. I was never molested or repeatedly beaten. I have NO history of self harm, impulse behaviors like drug use and drinking(I only smoked pot for a couple of years in my teens) Lost my virginity at a rather young age (14) but didn't have again really for several years. I have never really had many promiscuous behaviors and although I sometimes got really upset with my parents and felt victimized, I was never "empty" so to speak or "numb". I excelled at music (playing guitar and vocals) and so I was always consumed by things of the sort and didn't really stay down for long periods of time. I did have a bad temper. But only when pushed. I have broken stuff out of frustration of being called a name or when something of mine was broken but never to just do it. The only real guilt that I have carried is that I did sort of had a thing with a man that was a lot older than I. It lasted from about 16 to almost 18 and I stopped wanting anything to do with him. Being as I was young and naive I didn't really take to consideration that this person had been diagnosed with Bi Polar disorder years prior to meeting me. I had no understanding of the disorder as I wasn't into studying things like that then. That person took his own life after this and that shocked the hell out of me. I don't feel guilt for it though as he had made attempts prior to knowing me during times when he was with other women. I am 26 now and have been married for 3 years and I have had a nasty temper and this is why I am here typing this today. Out of fear that I might have/or have had BPD. I don't have a lot of the symptoms as I stated otherwise (self-harm,drugs,,repeated bouts of depression,numbness) But I have exhibited the volatile temper, aggression,hitting, yelling, thing. I have devalued him and then taken it back later.Making him do stupid things ,being vengeful and having to have control etc. I feel like such an a__hole for this now. I was never so much afraid of being alone though as much as a fear of "not wanting to be dooped". It all started with a nagging mistrust of his intentions. He was sort of the type to check out girls. He had done drugs which made me apprehensive. But that's no excuse for me to behave like a crazy *****. I have been scouring these boards for days now in a constant state of worry. Because I have the rage factor and the slight fear of abandonment(although not exactly crippling). I was actually rather content before looking for labels. Even the worst of mood swings. I didn't want to die nor was I depressed or empty. Is it possible to have 3 of the symptoms without being borderline? The uncontrolled temper, inappropriate anger etc? I don't really have a distorted perception of self. I don't think that I need to be perfect to please others. I don't feel a constant numbness and meloncholy. At the worst of my mood swings I was overweight and this made me feel "not as good about myself". But I didn't want to hurt myself because of it. Any advice?

It was about LA Conductor Gustavo Dudamel. During the program Smiley twice referred to a rehearsal session of a very difficult Messiaen piece. Favorite zucchini and summer squash recipe misplaced?

Last year I found, in one of my magazines, the best zucchini/squash recipe I have ever tasted. I remember first you sliced the zucchini and squash. The first layer alternately placed slices in a on 8x10 cerole dish. Second layer was sliced onion then I believe grated cheese. Continue layering till squash in gone. There was no soups or liquids added. I believe it was finished off with bread crumbs and baked. No precooking was involved. I remember how moist it was with so few ingredients. I thought it was a Paula Deen recipe but can't find it on her site. If anyone has this recipe, I would certainly appreciate a copy. Thanks

Chicken pot pie ~ easy and delicious Preheat oven 350degrees 2 chicken cut into cubes 1 to 1/2 cups frozen mixed veggies ( or a mix off green beans and corn ) put veggies in bowl with 11/2 Tablespoon of water and cook for 3 or 4 minutes microwave set aside 1 can cream of chicken soup 1/2 cup water and 1 chicken cube, put in microwave and heat till cube is dissolved salt & pepper to tast 1cup flour ,1 stick melted er ( unwrap & put on dish in microwave for a few seconds watch carefully) 1 cup milk ~~Spray a 10x10 pan put in chicken , veggies ,chicken broth& soup Blend milk, melted er and flour with wire whisk till smooth pour over top bake for 45 minutes or till top is nicely brown serve with a fresh salad and rolls & er Parmesan Chicken is good also Preheat oven to 400 degrees ~ Cut up some chicken or use the boneless chicken s cut in half ,melt a stick of er and add 1/2 to 3/4 teaspoon garlic powder in bowl .. in another bowl mix 1/2 cup of parmesan cheese 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning 1 cup bread crumbs( I use the Italian crumbs for this ) 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder salt & pepper to taste~spray a 9X13 pan dip chicken pieces in er mix then in bread crumb mix min put in pan drizzle with a litte more er. Bake 30 min or till fork pierces chicken easliy this dish can also be made using crushed rice krispies in place of the bread crumbs which makes it crunchy and delicious these are easy yet good tasting chicken recipes
